Provoked by the photographer who captured the scene on camera, André the Ibis and George the Lion provide a rude awakening from a dream of treasure troves, Pasteup, 111cmx175cm, 2021.

Jess and I were given the opportunity to create a mural to be displayed on one of the printmaking buildings at the National Art School. Due to lockdown, we both digitally drew each component, to be pieced together like a collage. Inspired by both printmaking and the Surrealist artworks we were looking at in our art history and theory classes, this mural integrates aspects of both our art practices and experience at NAS.
